MEDRIE MACPHEE. [b. 1953].

 

Born in Edmonton, Alberta. MacPhee studied at the School of Visual Arts, New York [1975]. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Halifax [1976]. She showed at Mira Godard Gallery, Calgary, 49th Parallel Gallery, New York, Concordia Art Gallery, Montreal, and at group shows in Canada, USA, and England. Her work is in many corporate, private and public collections including: the Art Gallery of Stratford, Beaverbrook Art Gallery, Fredericton, Edmonton Art Gallery and the Nickel Arts Museum, Calgary, She currently resides and works in New York City.
