5 1/4 x 7 1/4 inches. sepia-tone watercolour on paper. titled on heavy paper mounting. [1828].  

Provenance: Purchased by Peter Nahum, [Leicester Galleries, London, label on verso] from an English family, who were likely the descendants of the artist.
Originally part of a 19th century military portfolio of watercolours & drawings. There were views of the St. Lawrence river [Quebec City, Montreal, the Thousand Islands], Niagara, Lake Champlain, Saratoga Springs, and Philadelphia.
